2014 Style At Home

A New Year may be the perfect time to restart your fitness program (personally, I wouldn't know) or clean out your closet, but it's also a wonderful time to update your home. With my Mom being a talented interior decorator, I know updating a house (or apartment) can completely change your outlook. Here are a few things on my wishlist for the New Year.

1. Gold Gazelle Book Ends, Furbish Studio.

What better way to display all those books you got for Christmas than with new book ends? These gold ones will fit in with almost any decor but also add an instant update.

2. Jonathan Adler Match Box, Shopbop

Next time you go to light a candle, use matches and in the meantime store them in this adorable holder.

3.  Coasters, Shopbop

I'm a little obsessive about using coasters, but hopefully these will remind people to use them when they're over. They're also great for jewelry display.

4. Floral Mini Styling Set, Free People (online only)

This was at the top of my Christmas list. It's perfect for travel, and the pattern will make it stand out in any suitcase.

5. Kate Spade Phone Case, Shopbop

Admit to your overly organized tendencies with this Kate Spade phone case. The only downside is once your friends and colleagues pick up on your admittance, you'll probably be the first one they ask for the time.
