HELLO, 2019!

I am SO excited to welcome a new year. 2018 was filled with lots of lessons that i’m grateful for but I’m happy to put it behind me. I can’t wait to share all the new content I’ve been working on in the past week.

I know it’s a little late for a new years post but in case you haven’t read my instagram bio, running late is sort of my thing.

Anyway, here are a few of my resolutions/thoughts for the new year.

  1. Maybe I shouldn’t always run late? I am late to everything. The sad thing is, I actually TRY to be on time. I think my addiction to multitasking can overrun my life and always make me feel like I need to do everything at once when in reality if I just focused on one thing at a time my life would run a lot smoother. One of my resolutions for the year is to be more thoughtful with my time and other people’s time. I hate the wave of guilt that washes over me whenever I am on my way to meet someone and know they’re going to be waiting on me. Will keep you all updated on this one. PS- people who still make plans with me despite this flaw, I love you :)

  2. Non fashion content. I have shared a little bit of everything this past year and I would LOVE to know more about what you all want from me. Please DM me anytime with requests. I put up some polls on my Insta stories a few days ago and it sounds like you’re all pretty interested in beauty content with a little travel/home on occasion.

  3. Shopping. I want to update my shop page for you all as often as possible and keep it super current (i.e. cute dresses around valentine’s day, travel necessities for summer, etc.). Again, let me know if you’re looking for something in particular and I’m happy to send you a link if I find something. My shop page is currently curated with stuff I’m eyeing, have purchased myself or practical pieces for cooler weather - lots of cute boots on there right now.

  4. Speaking of beauty……. I am trying to be more thoughtful with the products/companies I buy my make-up from. I have always been a big fan of companies like Herbivore and Youth to the People (who mainly focus on skincare) but recently have discovered RMS and Kosas and I swear my life has changed! After dealing with some hormonal skin issues I can already tell a huge difference when I wear “clean” makeup. I can’t wait to share more natural beauty finds with you all. I will only be featuring products from non natural beauty brands who don’t test on animals. This is something I am super strict about. I ran a giveaway with Charlotte Tilbury (who makes amazing products) in December and that was the first thing I researched about their company. They don’t test on our furry friends :)

  5. Eating clean/working out….. due to a ton of random health issues last year (most were relatively minor) I became pretty involved in eating healthily and taking care of my body. I was in physical therapy most of last year but have recently started doing pilates. I am going to try and get back to soul cycle but I am still a little self conscious since it’s been so long. I just bought myself this badass workout top in my favorite color so let’s hope that motivates me.

  6. Newsletter- I have been working on this one for a while and reallly look forward to sharing it with you once it’s ready. I’ll be posting a swipe up link for you all to subscribe within the next week so be on the lookout for that!

  7. TRAVEL- I have been so focused on updating my home recently but I am very ready to get out of the house this year! So far I have trips booked to:

    • NEW YORK - for fashion week in February

    • SF - SOON!

    • PARIS- in March

    • PALM SPRINGS- finally going to coachella, yay!

  8. Links- I linked some items below that you guys have been loving (via my stories and shop page) My favorite boots, blowdryer, and jeans (all under $200!)
