A Fresh Start
In light of telling you that I'm starting a new fitness program or diet, I'm going to be honest and say that I haven't made a resolution list in quite a while. However, I do have a list of things that seem a lot more realistic and necessary to accomplish than most resolutions. Here are a few things I hope to accomplish in 2014:
1. Make the Impractical Practical: I never want to splurge on a basic pair of shoes. Of course, I already own multiple pairs so why spend my day searching for more black pumps when these are on Yoox at a heavily discounted price? The problem is, I buy the impractical pairs and revert back to the more boring ones almost immediately after.
2. Wear these with everything: No, these don't match many outfits, but they shouldn't have to. This obviously goes along with resolution number 1, but I had to note that it doesn't only apply to footwear.
3. Read my books in a timely manner: I can't even begin to count the amount of unread books there are lining the shelves of my apartment. This is embarassing, considering how many TV shows I watch! I have been reading this book on Diana Vreeland for about two weeks, when I used to be able to finish books in a matter of hours.
4. Use my planner: I bought one of these last year, and only used it off and on once it was September (aka the busiest time of the year). I have no idea why, but it probably didn't fit into one of my purses and was therefore forgotten. This year I am going to find a more lightweight version and carry it everywhere (I still have an aversion to using my iPhone as a planner).
Of course, training Ollie (my new puppy) is at the top of my list!
