Best of: Emmy Red Carpet

1. Kerry Washington in Marchesa- Always one of my favorites on the red carpet, Kerry Washington and her girly, flower embellished dress were a nice, refreshing break from some of the overly glam looks of the night.

2. Kiernan Shipka in Del Pozo- I am so happy that someone took a risk with their outfit, especially someone young. The neon accent changed the dress from a pastel frock to a fun party dress that probably didn't even require any of that uncomfortable hollywood tape.

3. Allison Williams in Ralph Lauren- Simple, classic, and elegant. I know this may read boring to most of you, but I love it. Allison Williams is the Ralph Lauren girl- she doesn't try to make a statement that reads any different from her personality.

4. January Jones in Givenchy- I am so happy she didn't wear a 50's hemline and instead wore a lace gown that she looked (gasp!) truly happy and comfortable in.

5. Julianna Hough in Jenny Packham- When I saw this dress go down the runway, I had no idea it would soon be worn on the red carpet, but I am so happy it was. Julianne Hough took a risk with this dress, but not really because she totally pulled it off in a way few others could.
