Summer layers can be pretty tricky. Sometimes wearing a dress just won't cut it. Air conditioning in the summer time is at an all time high, meaning if you're inside and your legs are exposed, chances are you're freezing. I purchased this dress as a transitional piece to wear during both summer and fall. I'll wear it with boots once it's cool enough, and I'll wear my blazer (that can look a little like a robe without the right clothes underneath) with leather pants and oxfords. For now, it's keeping me warm on airplanes and over skirts, dresses, and shorts as it becomes a surprisingly useful part of my wardrobe.
